How to Log in to Chuka University Students Portal online, for Registration, E-Learning, Hostel Booking, Fees, Courses and Exam Results
Universities have Students Portals that enable students to get many services online at their convenience. To access the Student Portal, one must be a duly registered student. Once admitted to university, a student is given the Students Portal Log in credentials; Registration Numbers and Password.

Mode of Study
The University offers three modes of study in Chuka Campus and Embu Town Campus:
Fulltime – in September, January and May Semesters
School Based – in April, August and December sessions
Evening/weekend – in September, January and May Semesters

SUBJECT 1: ENG; C
SUBJECT 2: MAT A / MAT B; C
SUBJECT 3: BIO / PHY / CHE / PSC / BSC / BIO / GSC: C+
Bachelor of Education(Arts) Admission Requirements
Mean grade C+ (plus) at KCSE and at least C+ in each of the two teaching subjects chosen,
2 Principal passes at A’Leveland1 Subsidiary in relevant subjects,
Diploma in Education.
P1teachers must have scored a mean grade of C+ at KCSE with at least C+ in two teaching subjects chosen.
Bachelor of Education(Science) Admission Requirements
Mean grade of C+(Plus) at KCSE with at least C (Plain) in Mathematics and C+ in each of the two teaching subjects or 2 Principal passes and 1 Subsidiary pass at A’ Level in Mathematics,
Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Diploma in Education.
HOW TO APPLY
a) Application Procedure
Non-refundable Application Fee (Kshs 3,000 for PhD. Programmes, KShs 2,000 for Masters Degree & Diploma, Kshs 1,000 for Certificate Courses)
Originals & a copy of all Transcripts, Diplomas or Certificates (All originals, where necessary, will be returned)
One recent passport size photograph (write your name on reverse side)
Copy of the National Identity Card or Birth Certificate
Research Concept paper (PhD. Only)
Application fee must be paid to; Account Name; Chuka University College, Kenya Commercial Bank; Account No: 1103755439 OR Cooperative Bank; Account No: 0112905818900.
b) Certified copies of certificates and original fee payment receipt MUST be attached to the application form and returned latest two weeks prior to the commencement dates given for the programmes.
c) One Academic Year is equivalent to 2 semesters for full-time or 3 blocks for school-based mode.
d) Diploma holders may take a shorter period to complete a Bachelors degree after credit transfer.
e) Preferred Campus should be indicated on the application form.
