The TSC may take disciplinary action against a teacher who commits any of the following offences/ misconducts:
- Immoral behaviour: Sexual intercourse, Sodomy, Lesbianism and sexual harassment/ flirtation
- Professional misconduct: negligence of duty, lateness to duty, Chronic absenteeism, desertion of duty, incitement and insubordination
- Infamous conduct: drunkenness, fighting
- Forgery
- Mismanagement and embezzlement of public funds
