Remote learning methodologies TSC phase 2 training

Thousands of teachers are set to be trained by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) on Remote Learning Methodologies (RLM). This is the second phase of the training.

TSC has decided to train two additional teachers per school.

“The Commission has decided to train TWO additional teachers in every regular and special primary schools and regular and special secondary school.” Reads the latest memo from the Commission.

The Training will be held for 2 say from Monday, 16^th August 2021 to Tuesday, 17^th August 2021 from 8.00am to 4.00pm.

The TSC County Directors will be expected to identify two teachers per school to undertake the training.

“You are required to provide the Commission with the numbers of additional teachers to participate in the Virtual training for your County.” Directs the Commission.

The TSC County Directors will also Provide the Commission with a list of FIVE Master Trainers among those who participated in the previous virtual training to conduct the training. The FIVE include: TWO secondary teachers, ONE Curriculum Support Officer (CSO), ONE CSO-SNE and ONE ICT Champion.

Monitoring Remote Learning
Policy Framework Supporting Remote Learning
Role of Stakeholders in Remote Learning

This comes at a time when all teachers have created Office 365 Email Accounts.

In the first training, that was conducted for five days, Secondary school Principals were trained first and were followed by two (2) teachers from every Secondary within the zone.
