New TSC vacancies for Trainers/ Facilitators, Subject experts and Education Technologists for primary and secondary teachers

Advert from the Teachers Service Commission, TSC;

The Government of Kenya has received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of the Secondary Education Quality Improvement Project and intends to apply part of the Proceeds under the contract to recruitment of facilitators, subject experts and education technologists.

The facilitators will train targeted teachers of Science, Mathematics and English in glades 7 and 8 and Form 1 to 4.

The Education specialists will support peer learning using ICT while, the subject experts will establish panels that will be responsible for reviewing and developing course content.

Who can apply;

Recruitment will be conducted through National Competitive Procurement as specified in the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers of July 201 (Procurement Regulations) and is open to all eligible applicants as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

The world bank advised that even the retired teachers be part of the facilitators and subject panelists. The subject experts, facilitators and education specialists will be hired based on the calendar activities during particular sessions and not on full time basis and the task will be within five-year period.

How to apply.

Applications will be sent to the TSC County Directors Offices in the 30 Counties targeted by the Secondary Education Quality Improvement Project (SEQIP).

Applications must be delivered to the TSC County Offices on or before 30t April, 2019.

Electronic applications will not be accepted. Late submissions will be rejected

Interviews

The date of the interview, and the successful applicants, will be communicated through TSC website (www.tsc.go.ke) and TSC County Directors’ Offices.
