Nomination of members to the Board of Management, BOM, for Secondary schools; Composition and functions of BOMs, The Basic Education Act

Composition of Members Nominated to Secondary schools’ BOM:

1. Representative of Parents or Local community(in case of county school)
2. one person representing the County Education Board, CEB
3. One person representing the teaching staff in the school
4. Three representatives of the sponsor of the school
5. One person to represent special groups in the community
6. One person to represent persons with special needs.
7. A representative of the student’s council/ Children’s government (as an Ex- Official Member).
