SRC Drastically Cuts Pay for New MPs & MCAs
The President will earn Ksh1.4 million inclusive of house and commuter allowance.
The deputy will earn Ksh1.2 million. Cabinet Secretaries and Attorney General will both earn Ksh924,000 inclusive of all allowances.
Speakers of the National Assembly and Senate will both earn gross salaries of Ksh1.1 million.
Their deputies will earn Ksh928,000
An MP and Senator will each earn Ksh710,000.
Speaker of the County Assembly will take home Ksh525,525
An MCA will get Ksh144,375.
