 Brief History of Kaimosi TTC.

As one of Kenya’s long-standing public teacher training institutions, the college has a deep history linked with the development of the region’s educational landscape. In 2014, the college’s original infrastructure was repurposed to establish Kaimosi Friends University College (which has since transitioned into the fully chartered Kaimosi Friends University). Following this, Kaimosi Teachers Training College relocated to a newly built, standalone campus site setup within the broader Kaimosi Complex to continue its independent educator-training mandate.

The modern College’s infrastructure features administrative complexes, modern lecture facilities, a comprehensive library, and dedicated residential hostel blocks supported in part by the Hamisi National Government Constituencies Development Fund (NG-CDF).
