Introducing Climate Workx: The New Kazi Mtaani Application form, link 2025

Introducing Climate Workx: The New Kazi Mtaani Application form, link 2025

The Government of Kenya is excited to announce the rebranding of the Kazi Mtaani initiative as Climate Workx, with activities set to kick off on Tuesday, June 3, 2025.

Who Can Apply?

This program is designed for young individuals aged 18 to 35, offering more than 113,000 temporary job opportunities across the country.

Job Opportunities Available:

– General Workers (KES 500 per day)
– Supervisors (KES 580 per day)

Participants will engage in various community projects, including tree planting, road upkeep, cleaning, and other local services within their home areas.

Facing Issues with the Kazi Mtaani Website?

If you’re encountering challenges with email verification or phone number validation during the application process, don’t lose hope! Keep trying to apply, and consider using a different email or phone number to overcome these hurdles.

For those who have already registered successfully—either on your own or with help—please refrain from submitting multiple applications. Each individual should register just once.

New Application Portal Update

The Kazi Mtaani application portal has been refreshed with a new link. The previous requirements for SHIF, SHA, and NSSF documentation, which posed difficulties for many applicants, have been removed from the registration process.

With a generous allocation of Ksh. 5 billion from the Ministry of Roads, this program will operate in 46 counties, excluding Nairobi, which has its own similar initiative engaging over 20,000 youths.

Eligible candidates from the participating counties have a 10-day window to register online before the process shifts to manual recruitment managed by local chiefs and assistant chiefs.

President Ruto’s revival of this program as Climate Workx holds great promise for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), while also boosting economic activity at the community level. By re-engaging thousands of unemployed individuals in meaningful work focused on climate resilience and community enhancement, this initiative serves multiple goals.

Firstly, it offers direct employment to low-income individuals, who are typically the primary customers for MSMEs. As these workers earn wages, their increased purchasing power is anticipated to drive demand for local products and services, thereby fostering the growth of small businesses.

Secondly, the program’s focus on sustainable practices includes training and capacity-building for MSMEs involved in eco-friendly solutions. This dual approach not only hones the skills of the workforce but also equips small enterprises to thrive in emerging green markets.

Interested candidates can fill out the application form online at the Kazi Mtaani website: https://crsp.go.ke/
