A section of Kenyans have turned to social media to vent their anger following the appointment of former Education Cabinet Secretary Dr Amina Mohammed to head the Sports docket. The Kenyans now want President Uhuru Kenyatta to appoint media personality Carol Radul to the Sports Ministry. The Sports docket fall vacant following the dismissal of Rashid Echesa.

Here is a sampling of some of the comments:

@Muthui: Uhuru does not take sports seriously and that is the reasoning Kenya underperforms. After Wario, Rashid Echesa after Echesa CS Amina Mohamed… The sports ministry is the dumping ground for under performers!

@Kibuchi Mwai: Why is President Uhuru Kenyatta leaving behind such an important asset (Carol Rachel)? She should be given a position in Sports Ministry. This is the will of Kenyans.

@Alfred Kipkemoi:
Hey, President Uhuru Kenyatta, give me one good reason why you cannot trust Carol Radull on that sports ticket, with all honesty she is best placed for the job than madam ambassador.

@Mukami Wambora: Amina Mohamed has been named the new Sports CS replacing Rashid Echesa who replaced Hassan Wario. Dear President Uhuru Kenyatta, Just spit balling here but maybe you could try and appoint a Sports CS who actually has a background in Sports and see how that works?

Media personality Carol Radul. A section of Kenyans are urging President Uhuru Kenyatta to give the Sports docket to Carol Rachel.

@Maina Njoki: Ask Amina Mohammed who’s current Kenya 7’s captain?! Who’s Harambee star’s coach?! Any Malkia strikers player she knows?! When AFCON is taking place?! No. of players in a Rugby 15’s match?!🤦🏻‍.. sure she got no answer to any.. Well, she’s your sports CS..

@Cymoh: CAROLL RADULL should have been given the Ministry of Sports,man, this lady is determined . How dare you give Amina the CS of sports yet she knows no player who plays in the top kenyan Leagues? Welcome to kenya where everything is a joke!

@Wanjiku Mugane: Thank you MR PRESIDENT Uhuru Kenyatta. Can’t thank you enough for appointing George Magoha to be the CS of EDUCATION..
Our EDUCATION standards are bound to IMPROVE..
I still haven’t figured out what Amina Mohammed will do at sports but it’s okay.
