Manchester united recorded a terrific 3-1 loss away at West Ham, in London, on Saturday afternoon in an English Premier League clash.

The win handed West Ham their first ever win at home, this season.

It is West Ham who drew first blood in the fifth minute via Felipe Anderson. Anderson flicked past De Gea after a low cross from Zabaleta!

The lack lustre united squad found themselves, two goals down with to minutes to the break. Andriy Yarmolenko’s shot was deflected into the net by Manchester united’s defender, Lindelof, in the 43rd minute for an own goal. The game went into the break with West Ham two goals up.

West Ham’s Marco Arnautovic completed the route by striding through on goal and coolly slotting home in the 74th minute.

Manchester United’s consolation came in through Marcus Rashford who brilliantly sent a back-heel flick into the net for a 2-1score line in the 71st minute.

Jose Mourinho made four changes to the Manchester United side that drew with Wolves last weekend, as Ashley Young, Nemanja Matic, Scott McTominay and Anthony Martial earn starts.

Alexis Sanchez and Jesse Lingard were absent from the squad completely, as Marcus Rashford returned from suspension to take a place on the bench.

Three back-to-back victories had seemed to bring Manchester United back on track but troubles in the dressing room have started to pour out of control.
Amid poor relationships between Paul Pogba and Jose Mourinho, United were held to a disappointing 1-1 at home to new boys Wolves and were then knocked out of the Carabao Cup in a penalty shootout to Championship side Derby.

The under fire Manchester United boss had this to say on his team’s overall performance, today: “I can have complaints with quality and mental approach. You have to try always and that is my nature as a football professional.”
