2019 Nyanza region term 2 games results- List of qualifiers to National KSSSA games.

The Nyanza region term 2 games, 2019, are now officially over. The games were played at Kisumu boys from 18th to 22nd June, 2019 and involved: Soccer, volleyball, netball and racquet games. The following teams from Nyanza have booked tickets to the National Kenya Secondary Schools Sports Association, KSSSA, games to be played at Kisumu boys from 27th July to 4th August, 2019:

2019 Kisumu County Secondary Schools Term 2 Games; Results and Regional Qualifiers

This year’s Kisumu County Secondary schools term two games championship saw perennial winners ease to victory and book regional tickets. In Volleyball girls, defending champions and Nyanza region title holders Nyakach girls were in a class of their own hammering Koru girls by three sets to none in the finals. Nyakach who lifted a trio of trophies were superb against bitter rivals Magadi who they humbled 6-0 at the finals. Also winning gold was the school’s netball team who are also the Nyanza Region defending champs.

In soccer boys, 2018 Nyanza region finalists Kisumu Day overcame newbies Awasi 1-0 in the final to successfully defend their county trophy.

Winners and runners up in all disciplines, apart from soccer under 16, proceed to the Regional games slated for the 18th to 22nd June, 2019, at Kisumu Boys.

Former East Africa secondary school games boys’ soccer under 19 Champions, Barding, bounced back after missing out from last year’s Nyanza region championship. At this year’s Regional games, Barding will be joined by Lwak Girls (Soccer Under 16), Hawinga Girls (Soccer under 19), Sega Girls (Volleyball) and Ambira (Boys Volleyball) from Siaya.
