Detectives based at the Immigration Department have today arraigned Ms. Jackline Kwamboka Abuga in Court for the offence of forgery. Several fake birth and death Certificates, a computer, printer, seal for civil registrations and other assorted documents were recovered from her house at Kawangare, Nairobi.
The suspect, Ms Kwamboka, has been printing the birth and death certificates at her house in Kawangare and selling them to unsuspecting Kenyans. She was arrested a few days ago after Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations, DCI, laid a trap for her. Investigations are at an advanced stage to have all those involved nabbed.
Birth Certificates are an important document in Kenya and its holder can be duly registered as a Kenyan Citizen.
