The 2020 Obama Foundation Internships; apply today

INTERNSHIP

The Obama Foundation draws on a diverse cohort of passionate, mission-oriented, and qualified interns to serve in our Chicago and D.C. offices. This internship is open to current undergraduate students, graduate students, and recent graduates who are eligible to work in the United States.

Obama Foundation interns will become some of the world’s most valuable leaders in a variety of capacities. Hopefully, this program will expose interns to diverse models of leadership and practical work experience, especially for those who might not otherwise have the opportunity.

The Spring 2020 Internship will begin on January 6, 2020, and end on May 8, 2020. With the exception of our Legal Department, all interns will be required to work 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday in either the Chicago or Washington, D.C. office and will receive a modest $3,000 stipend to offset some of the expenses incurred to participate in the program.

The intern selected to support the Foundation’s Legal Department will commit to a (20 hours per week) part-time schedule to be determined with the General Counsel team (for the same start and end dates) and will receive a stipend and/or academic credit, dependant upon the requirements as determined by the intern’s law school.

The application will close on October 13, 2019 at 6pm EDT.

What do interns do?

The Foundation is looking for interns who have excellent time management and organizational skills, are strong writers and researchers, and are eager to work in a fast-paced office environment. Interns will play a key role in providing departments at the Obama Foundation with the administrative, logistical, and operational assistance needed to execute their work. To learn more, check out each department’s internship description.

Who can apply?

Current full-time or part-time undergraduate students, graduate students, and recent graduates authorized to work off-campus in the United States are welcome to apply. The Foundation is committed to recruiting a diverse cohort of interns and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.

You actually know how to bring a difficulty to light and make it crucial. The diet must see this and fully grasp this side on the story. I cant believe youre not far more common because you undoubtedly hold the gift. 481367
