Scholarship Opportunities at Kenya Water Institute

The Government of Kenya through the Ministry of Water, Sanitation and Irrigation in collaboration with The Denmark International ScholarshipProgram invites interested and qualified students / participants forPartially Funded Kenya Water Institute Scholarships for training in Plumbing, Pipefitting and Wastewater Management Technology.

The Institute hopes to recognize, trainand mentor young Kenyans who demonstrate interest and willingness to develop careers in Construction and Water, Irrigation and Sanitation sectors.

Eligibility for the scholarship

  1. Must be a Kenyan citizen with a National Identity Card,
  2. Applicants must not exceed 35 years old,
  3. Must have a Certificate of Kenya Secondary Education (KCSE),
  4. The scholarship is available for both female and male students / participants, but special emphasis is placed on female studentsinterested in developing careers in construction and water sector fields.

Award Type: Scholarship-on-Admission

Level of study: Post-Secondary / College

Duration: 9 months (6 months classroom & 3 months field work)

Scholarship Attributes

The Denmark International& Kenya Water Institute Scholarshipwill cover:-

  1. Full Tuition and Accommodation,
  2. Stipends (Up-keep and Transport for students),
  3. Graduation Fee among others.
  4. The scholarship is tenable only at Kenya Water Institute.
  5. Deadline for Application: 25thNovember, 2022

  2. Scan and upload copy of your – National Identity Card (both sides),
  3. Scan and upload copy of your Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE),
  4. Qualified and selected candidates will be required to come with their original and copiesof their documents for authentication on the day of admission.
