FKF establishes a talent academy at St. Peter’s Mumias Boys High School

The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has  partnered with St. Peter’s Mumias Boys High School  for the  establishment of a talent centre at the institution.

The FKF CEO Barry Otieno said the centre will serve the western region by nurturing talents among the young people.

Speaking while signing a Memorandsum of Understanding (MOU) with the school Principal Cosmas Nabungolo on Wednesday, Otieno said the centre is the second in the country after a similar one at St Anthony’s high school in Trans-Nzoia County.

“We intend to establish eight such talent academies across the country in order to horn the co-curriculum skills among the learners,” he stated.

Mr  Nabungolo commended the football governing body for considering his school in the region.

He said being a career soccer coach he would ensure the learners and the local community benefit from the facility.
