RE: NOTICE ON THE 2026 ELIMU SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME
The Ministry of Education in the year 2026 will offer Elimu Scholarships to needy and vulnerable learners, including those with special needs and disabilities, who are sitting for the Kenya Junior School Education Assessment (KJSEA).
The Elimu Scholarship Programme aims to promote equitable access to quality secondary education across the country.
The scholarships will be awarded to learners who meet the specified eligibility criteria and secure admission to Public Senior Schools,
Details of the selection criteria and application process will be communicated through newspapers (My Govโ), County Education Offices, Sub-County Education Offices, radio broadcasts, and official social media platforms.
You are tequired to inform all Heads of Institutions (HOIs) so that they inform the Candidates and parents of Grade 9 learners to be on the lookout for the official announcement and to ensure that eligible learners apply once the advertisement is made.
The advertisement will be made immediately after the release of the KJSEA results.
