Algeria win the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations

Algeria have won the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations by defeating Senegal 1-0 in a tough final played on Friday night in Egypt. Baghdad Bounedjah’s early goal earned them their second Africa Cup of Nations.

Their winning drought of 29 years is the biggest ever, surpassing the previous record of 27 years set by Egypt between 1959 and 1986.
