KCSE 2022 results release details.
The Kenya certificate of secondary education (KCSE) exercise began on 2nd December 2022 last year. The exercise lasted for three weeks and came to an end on 23rd December 2022.
A multi-agency team monitored the exercise closely and ensured the exam was done securely and no malpractice was practiced.The marking exercise for the 2022 KCSE exams began on 2nd January 2023. There were a small hitch when CRE examiners downed tools; demanding more pay and improved working conditions.
884,263 candidates will be expecting their results to be announced after the completion of the exercise.

When will the KCSE 2022 Result be released?
According to Education CS Ezekiel, the KCSE result will be released on Friday January 20th 2023.
The marking of the KCSE CRE paper 2 was delayed after the markers riot over changed marking policies and low marking rates. Fortunately enough the problem was resolved and the marking exercise resumed later.
How to access the KCSE 2022 results
Accessing KCSE results 2022 is an easy task and can be done in two ways. It can be done either by SMS or online by visiting the KNEC portal.
The procedure of accessing results by sms
To use the sms code process proceed with the following steps;
using your phone select the messaging icon and start composing a new message
key in the KNEC code 20076 in the recipient section.
Compose a message consisting your KCSE 2022 examination KCSE index number followed by the initials KCSE. eg. 4260655001KCSE
Confirm that the index number together with the school code is correct before sending the message.
NB: The SMS will cost KSH 25 for any network.
How to access KCSE 2022 results online
To access the KCSE results online;
visit the KNEC online portal https://www.knec-portal.ac.ke/
select KCSE result online tab, select your year, and key in the correct KCSE index number to access your result.
