The Ministry of education has released the 2021 term dates for all Teachers Training Colleges (TTCs). Secondary school trainee teachers will report for their term one on 4th January, 2021 with the term lasting for 13 weeks. they will close for holiday on April 2, 2021.
Their counterparts (undertaking Diploma in Primary Teacher Education) will reopen on 3rd May, 2021 for term one which will last for 14 weeks; with the closing day slated for August 6, 2021.
The term dates are contained in the Ministry of Education Circular dated December 3, 2020 and titled ‘RE: SCHOOL CALENDARS FOR YEARS 2020, 2021, 2022 AND 2023- REVISED TERM DATES FOR PRE-PRIMARY, PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOLS AND TEACHERS TRAINING COLLEGES’.
