What is the AFCON Swipe and Win Campaign?
CBA has partnered with Visa to reward you for using your CBA Credit or Debit Card at a Point of Sale Merchant (PoS) or online transaction.
How long will the campaign run?
The campaign is set to run from 1st May to 7th June 2019.
The weekly draw will run for 4 weeks and the 1st Grand Prize Draw will be done on 7th June 2019.
What can you win?
The grand prize includes 2 trips for a parent and child to the 2019 Total Africa Cup of Nations for the Player Escort Programme – this gives children the opportunity to walk out of the tunnel with the national team at the tournament stages. The grand prize includes return air tickets, deluxe accommodation and more.
For the weekly draw stand a chance to win local holidays, smart TVs, DSTV decoders and 1-month subscription, point of sale rewards and vouchers.
Who can participate in the campaign?
This promotion is open to CBA Visa Debit and Credit card holders (excluding CBA Business Credit Card customers and corporate business cardholders).
Which card transactions are eligible?
Payments to any Point of Sale merchant or online transactions.
Which transactions are not eligible?
ATM transactions, cash advances, financial charges, balance transfers, credit card annual fee, joining fees and government service tax.
How does one qualify to enter into the promotion?
In order to qualify for the promotion, CBA customers will be required to swipe a minimum of KES 5,000 at a Point of Sale (POS) or online transaction.
How will the winners be selected?
Winners will be selected from a pool of draw entrants using a computerized random winner selection software by a Betting Control and Licencing Board, BCLB, approved vendor in the presence of a BCLB agent.
Are there any restrictions on the winner?
All entries to the grand prize draw will stand a chance of winning only once.
CBA Staff and their immediate families will not be eligible to participate.
