<p>How TSC deals with Canal Knowledge, CK (Sexual Relations With Learners)</p>
<p>The Teachers Service Commission, TSC, deals firmly with cases of sexual relationships involving teachers and learners.</p>
<p>The Commission is always tough on teachers who sleep with their learners; either in schools where they teach or elsewhere.</p>
<p>Here are the regulations that guide action on sexual relationships involving teachers and learners.</p>
<h2><strong>Code of conduct and Ethics, 2015.</strong></h2>
<p>A teacher shall not :-</p>
<p>22 (1a) engage in any sexual activity whatsoever with a learner regardless of the learner consent;</p>
<p>1b) make a request to or exert pressure on<br />
a learner for sexual activity or favour; or</p>
<p>1c) flirt with a learner.</p>
<p>22 (2a) send learners to their personal residences for whatever reason;</p>
<p>2b) induce, coerce, threaten or intimidate a learner in any way and particularly in regard to their academic performance, in<br />
exchange for sexual relations or</p>
<p>2c) facilitate non disclosure or cover-up of cases of sexual abuse against a learner.</p>
<p>23. (c) make intentional or careless physical contact that is sexual in nature.</p>
<h2><strong>Code of Regulations, 2015.</strong></h2>
<p>The commission may take disciplinary action against a teacher who commits any of the following offences:-</p>
<p>140 a) immoral behavior, including but not limited to-</p>
<p>i) sexual intercourse<br />
ii) sodomy<br />
iii) lesbianism; and<br />
iv) sexual harassment or flirtation.</p>
<p>Please keep away from the learners. Most teachers on the TSC dismissal lists lare victims of Canal Knowledge.</p>
