Parents and/ or guardians are currently in pursuit of schools where they can take their kids for form one admission, in case the kids do not get selected to join their preferred schools by the Ministry of Education. The National Selection for 2019 form one was launched yesterday (Monday 3rd December, 2018) by the Education Ministry’s Cabinet Secretary, Dr. Amina Mohammed. 31,392 students were selected to join form one at the National schools. For Extra County Schools, there are 129,168 vacancies for form ones in 2019. While, County Schools, Sub County schools and Private schools have been allocated 150,525, 684,515 and 60,356 slots respectively.
Some parents may wish to seek vacancies in ‘better’ schools than those into which their kids should have been selected to join. Here is a head start for your search.
