The ODM party candidate Irshad Sumra casts his vote at Mukuru Community Center grounds, MCC; on Friday 5th April, 2019. WIPER'S Julius Mawathe won the Embakasi South parliamentary by-election, garnering 21,628 votes to defeat ODM's Irshad Sumra who got 7,988 votes. In the Ugenya By-election, Hon David Ochieng garnered 18,730 votes against ODM's Chris Karani who got 14,507 votes.
