One of the greatest benefit accrued from using Telegram is that you can send media and files, without any limits on their type and size. Your entire chat history will require no disk space on your device, and will be securely stored in the Telegram cloud for as long as you need it. You can create group chats for up to 200,000 members, share large videos, documents of any type (.DOC, .MP3, .ZIP, etc.), and even set up bots for specific tasks. In fact, you can access earlier chats and documents that were shared when you had not joined any Telegram group.

Joining Telegram.

Joining Telegram is a simple and fast process. All you need is an Android mobile phone and you are good to go. Follow the steps below to join Telegram:

1). To download Telegram App, locate Play Store on your phone.
2). In the search box at the Play Store home page, type in Telegram Messenger and click on search. Telegram (Telegram FZ- LLC) would be displayed. Press on ‘INSTALL’ and wait for the App to be downloaded and installed automatically.
3). Once installed, now click on ‘OPEN’ to launch the application.
4). On the next Window, select ‘START MESSAGING’ then enter your phone number; country code and phone number.
5). Select ‘Send the code as an SMS’ or use the voice call option to receive the verification code.
6). Enter the code correctly and be logged onto Telegram.

How to search for content in a group.

In case you joined after a file or document had been shared to a group, you can still retrieve it. This is how to go about it:

1). Once in the group, click on the three dots at the top right corner of your window. Select ‘search’ from the shown list.
2). Now type in the name of document you want to retrieve and click on search. Navigate through the page by using the top and down arrow to the bottom right of your screen.
