How to apply for the Interior Ministry’s Data entry and verification clerk vacancies

The Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government has rolled out the process of hiring 9,000 data entry and verification clerks countrywide. The clerks will assist the Ministry to digitize its records.; which will be done in all the 112 sub-counties from 15th July to 15th August, 2019.

The qualifications of the clerks are:
1). Must have a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education, KCSE, Certificate.
2). Having a Certificate in computer application.
3). Competency in Data Entry – A data entry clerk is expected to key in a minimum of 150 Records and a verification clerk to verify a minimum of 450 record per day.
4). Must have a laptop – Clerks to be engaged must come with their Laptops.
5). Must be available during the entire period of Digitization; From 15th July to 15th August, 2019.

How to apply: Submit the application letter plus supportive documents to your area’s Assistant Chief.

Application Deadline: The Application should be submitted by 7th July, 2019.

Ministry of Interior Data entry and Verification Clerks’ jobs- Sample application letter

The Ministry of Interior is hiring 9,000 data entry and verification clerks countrywide. The Clerks will assist the Ministry to digitize its undigitized records standing at 30,059,474. The exercise is to be carried out between 15th July and 15th August, 2019; for 30 days in all the 111 Sub-Counties countrywide. 1). A clear photocopy of your National Identity card, ID (Both sides),
2). Copies of your academic certificates; Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE), Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE), Certificate Course, Diploma/ Degree Certificate and/ or Certificate in Computer applications.
