In the 2020 KCSE examinations the school posted a mean score of 8.12 (a B-, minus).

KCSE 2020 top and best schools per County (Migori)

Kanga High took position one in the 2020 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations in the Migori County ranking of schools. The school had a mean score of 9.059.

Ulanda Girls (8.533) and Rapogi Boys (8.27) took positions two and three respectively.
