The Apps available on play store enable Kenyans, other Citizens, from any part of the country and in the diaspora to get quick government services by a click of a button. Here are the top 10 must have Apps:

Its features include:
1). E-services
Kenyan Citizens and Foreign Residents can now apply for Government to Citizen (G2C) services and pay via mobile money, debit Cards and eCitizen agents.
2). Electronic Foreign Nationals Services (eFNS)
The Republic of Kenya electronic Foreign Nationals Services (eFNS) portal for the Department of Immigration Services under the Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government. Apply for your Pass, Permit, Alien card, Permanent Residence or Kenya Citizenship and pay using cards and/or mobile money.

C). iTAX
Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has introduced the iTax Mobile App; a software application designed to run on the Android platform to enable ease of access to tax services leveraging on the fast growing mobile industry in Kenya.
The mobile app in its first phase will enable you facilitate any of the following tax transactions:
• Filing of NIL returns for all tax obligations: VAT, Pay as You Earn (PAYE), Income Tax Company (IT2C), Income Tax Partnership (IT2P), Income Tax Individual (IT1), Monthly Rental Income (MRI) return, Turnover Tax and Excise return.
• Payment registration for Monthly Rental Income (MRI) return. The generated payment registration number (PRN) may be used to facilitate tax payments in any of the agent commercial banks in Kenya or via mobile service providers (M-Pesa, Airtel).

Make your National Hospital Insurance Fund, NHIF, contributions easily and conveniently from your Android device.

TICKETING
Passengers can book tickets thirty (30) days in advance and a return ticket as long as it is within the thirty (30) days window period
Group bookings (over 20 pax) must be made thirty two (32) days days to the date of travel.
The USSD payment solution is available 24/7.
One can book upto a maximum of ten (10) persons per transaction with the USSD payment solution.
Kenya Railways has provided bus/connect services to and from the Mombasa and Nairobi Termini. In Nairobi, catch the commuter train from the CBD railway station at 6:10 am; and in Mombasa catch the connect bus from the old railway station along Mijikenda Road at 6:00 am. The same services are available upon arrival to both destinations
In Mombasa, boarding is at the Mombasa Terminus in Miritini; customers are picked up at the old Mombasa Railways station and transported to the Terminus by buses. The same buses will transport customers on arrival from the Mombasa Terminus to Mombasa CBD.

Madaraka Express is the Standard Gauge Railway services officially opened by Kenya’s 4th President on 31st May 2017. The train operates between the capital city Nairobi and Mombasa on a daily basis. The train services are divided into Express and Inter county trains.
