Exposed! List of under performing Cabinet Secretaries,in Kenya

A lobby group, Kenya Fire, has exposed a list of Cabinet Secretaries, CSs, serving under the Jubilee government who  are under performing. Through a hash tag ‘CSsFailingUhuru’ the lobby group has listed eight CSs who should be fired immediately for corruption and incompetency related issues. Mwangi Kiunjuri fired as Agriculture Cabinet Secretary; Here is the new cabinet

President Uhuru Kenyatta has fired Mwangi Kiunjuri and Adan Mohammed from Cabinet. He instead has nominated Mutahi Kagwe for CS Health and Betty Maina, CS Trade.

Please take away the maize scandal ‘thieves’- Francis Atwoli prays (video)

The Central Organization of Trade Unions’ (COTU) Secretary General, Francis Atwoli, has sensationally prayed to God to ‘take away’ the perpetrators of the recent maize scandal that hit the National Cereals and Produce Board, NCPB. During a meeting over the weekend at the expansive Rift Valley region, the Fiery COTU boss pleaded to God to eliminate the perpetrators whom he says have caused immense suffering to the local community members by embezzling maize proceeds meant for the farmers.

Atwoli also prayed to God to intervene in the current standoff at the National Services and Security Fund, NSSF, saying an unidentified lady from the Federation of Kenya Employers, FKE, is plotting for his removal from the NSSF board to embezzle the Kshs. 260 billion at the kitty. He did not forget to pray for the President, H.E Uhuru Kenyatta.

Sad news: Former Maendeleo ya Wanawake Chairperson is dead

Former chairperson of the ‘Maendeleo ya Wanawake’ Organisation,Jane Kiano, has died aged 74 at the Nairobi Hospital. The family reports that Madam Kiano died after a long battle with cancer. She passed on last night.

Mourning her death, President Uhuru wrote: “I am saddened with the news of passing on of former Maendeleo ya Wanawake Organisation chairperson, Ms. Jane Kiano. She played an important role in advancing women rights & justice in the country. Our thoughts & prayers are with her family & friends. May her soul Rest in Peace.”

The speaker of the National Assembly, Hon. JB Muturi, was also among the first leaders to condole with the late Kiano’s family. “My heartfelt condolences to the family of former Maendeleo ya Wanawake Chair, Jane Mumbi Kiano, following her untimely demise. Mrs. Kiano, a trailblazer in the advocacy for women rights & financial empowerment,leaves behind a legacy of changing lives & transforming households,” Muturi said.

The Deputy President, Hon. William Ruto, eulogized the gallant women rights’ defender, thus: “She was a proponent of gender equality, a strong voice for girls’ education and a prominent advocate of women’s mobilisation to build sustainable livelihoods and safeguard their welfare. Her indomitable spirit and energy transformed lives and gave hope to many. Rest In Peace.”
