Kisii University gets 7,772 new students for the 2024-2025 academic year

Kisii university got 7,772 new first year students in the 2024-2025 academic year. In the released results by the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (Kuccps), the school of education got the highest share of 2,198 new students.

The school of Arts and Social Sciences got 1,943 first years while the school of Business and Economics came third with 1,335 students.

other schools will admit students as follows: School of law (70), School of Health Sciences (316), Pure & Applied Sciences (647).

The school of information science hasn’t been left behind either as it will receive 827 students with Agricultural & Natural Resources getting 436.

In terms of gender, there was an almost balance with 3,963 being male while female students will be 3,809.

The reporting date will be in August/ September this year.
