2023 KCPE Results Summary:
- ย 400 to 500 marks: 8,525 candidates
- 300 to 399 marks 352,782 candidates
- 200 to 299 marks: 658,278 candidates
- 100 to 199 marks:- 383,025 candidates
- 01 – 99 marks: 2,060 candidates
- Top candidate scored 428 marks; Michael Warutere from Royal Springs academy.
- 1,406,557 candidates sat for the 2023 KCPE examination.
- 9,354 candidates didn’t sit for the examination and will have a chance to do a special examination in January 2024.
- No candidate will repeat Class 8 as this year’s results will be the last of KCPE under the 8-4-4 system.
- 2023 KCPE marks the end of the 8-4-4 system. KPSEA system will be fully operational.
- Candidates can get their results by sending their index Number followed by initials ‘KCPE’ to SMS 40054.

- A total of 205 candidates who were not registered were allowed to sit for the exams and of this 125 were male and 80 were female candidates, 10 counties had a significant entry of male candidates than female candidates ~ CS Ezekiel Machogu
