KNEC NEWS– The Kenya National Examinations Council, KNEC, expects the Contracted Professionals especially centre managers to perform their duties diligently when it comes to determining the knec contracted Professionals pay.
The Principal or head (Centre Manager) is charged with the responsibility of marking the attendance register online, for all the contracted officers posted to man exams at his or her designated examination centre.
This online knec attendance register for contracted professionals is key to determining how much the contracted professionals will earn for the amount is tabulated depending on the number of days that the officer turned up for duty.
The professionals on the other hand are expected to update their data on the KNEC cp2 portal.
The council has so far deployed Supervisors, Invigilators and Centre managers who will be in charge of this year’s Kenya Certificate of the Secondary Education, KCSE, and Kenya Certificate of Primary Education, KCPE, exams.
The Principal or head teacher (Centre Manager) will then mark the attendance register online, for all the contracted officers once exams start.

From your browser, visit the KNEC contracted professionals’ portal by using the address/ URL; https://cp2.knec.ac.ke
For a new user, click on ‘CREATE ACCOUNT’ tab.
Then, enter your mobile phone number in the format 2547….., confirm the mobile phone number (by re-entering it) and click on ‘CREATE ACCOUNT’
You will receive a successful account creation message on your window.
