Recommendation (Tick as appropriate)

  1. Approved to host JSS | |
  2. Approved as feeder school for JJS
  • Not approved at all | |

NOTE:

In the context of the JSS transition, the term feeder school refers to a Primary School that lacks the enrolment and/or infrastructural capacity to domicile a JSS. In such cases, the MoE will transfer the learners to a neighbouring JSS or implement appropriate affirmative action to ensure 100 percent transition.

Therefore, JSS Feeder Schoolswill be designated as follows:

  • In high density areas andurban informal settlements Primary Schools with an enrolment of less than 45 learnersor those lacking the basic facilities to hosta JSS will serve as Feeder Schoolsto other JSSs within a 2 kilometres
  • In geographically expansive or low density areas and those characterized by insecurity, Primary Schools with less than 30 learnersSHALL serve as Feeder Schools, regardless of their proximity to the nearest JSS.
