Hidden Talent won the Women’s U19 title with a 28-0 win over Huruma as the Safari Sevens got underway at the RFUEA Ground on Friday 9 November 2018.

Daisy Zubeida landed a converted try to put Hidden Talent 7-0 up after asking questions of Huruma. Zubeida landed her brace, the conversion good as Hidden Talent took a 14-0 lead into the break. Joyce Muigai raced clear to score under the posts, the conversion sailing over the bar for a 21-0 lead. Edith Saleh scored a converted try at the death to win it for them.

The two sides qualified for the cup final after topping their semifinals, Hiddent Talent stopping Nguvu
Community 28-0 while Huruma stunned pre-match favorites Nakuru 15-5 in a pulsating encounter.

The two teams had earlier topped their respective pools,Hidden Talent topping Pool A after winning all their
fixtures as Huruma claimed pole position in Pool C.

Nguvu Community and Nakuru played out an exciting 3rd place playoff,Nakuru finishing 3rd with a 21-14 win.Nanyuki Knights stopped Nile Road 12-0 to claim 5th place.

Maono were 7th place finishers after beating Nanyuki Minners 19-5. Community claimed 9th place with a 15-0 win over St. Teresa as St. Christine finished 11th overall with a 10-0 walkover result over Top Mark.
