  • Click on “Register” to start setting up your profile.

Step 3: Enter Your ID and Phone Number

  • Type in your ID number and phone number.
  • Make sure the phone number is correct since you’ll get OTP (One-Time Password) codes that you’ll need to enter to move forward.

Step 4: Create Your Signature/PIN

  • On the platform, you’ll be prompted to create your digital signature.
  • This is important to confirm your approval during the registration and sign-in process.

Step 5: Complete Your Profile

You’ll need to provide a few more details to complete your profile, including:

  • County
  • Sub-county
  • Ward

Fill these out carefully to make sure your SHA profile is accurate.

Step 6: Means Testing for Unemployed or Self-employed Clients

If you’re unemployed or self-employed, part of the process includes a quick means test. This step helps figure out what your premium will be based on your situation.

Friendly tip: It’s best to do the means test yourself to avoid any surprises. Sometimes, the premium can be higher than expected, and we wouldn’t want you to feel misled. If you’re unsure about how to do it, feel free to head to a cyber café, where they can help guide you through it.

Step 7: Pay Your Premium via MPESA

Once registration is done and your premium is set, you’ll need to pay through MPESA:

  • Paybill Number: 200222
  • Account Number: Your ID number

Step 8: Eligibility for Services

After the premium payment is made, you will be eligible to access healthcare services under SHA, whether you’re unemployed or self-employed.

By following these steps, you can get your SHA registration done quickly and access the services you need.
