<p>Have you been employed recently by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC)? Well. During the recruitment process for new teachers, it is important that you know and understand the documents that you must submit to the employer.</p>
<p>Failure to submit all the required documents (in the prescribed format) would make you <a href="https://educationnewshub.co.ke/tsc-releases-list-of-teachers-who-are-on-the-payroll-but-missing-in-tmis/">not be appointed to the TSC payroll.</a> This will in turn delay the release of your salary. In adverse cases, the TSC may send you <a href="https://educationnewshub.co.ke/tsc-regret-letters-what-can-make-a-teacher-to-get-a-regret-letter-from-tsc/">a regret letter</a>; meaning that your application for TSC employment has been rejected.</p>
<h1><strong>LIST OF DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED TO THE BOMs BY NEWLY EMPLOYED TSC TEACHERS.</strong></h1>
<p>The Board of Management, BOM, carries out interviews for shortlisted teachers filling advertised secondary school vacancies. This is done at County level. If your application is successful, then you will be required to submit the following documents to the Secretary, Board of Management (who is the Principal):</p>
<ol>
<li> Duly signed application for employment letter;</li>
<li>Duly signed commitment letter to serve in the school for a minimum period of <strong>five (5) years and three (3) years </strong>in the case of North Eastern region;</li>
<li>Original and copies of the following: –</li>
</ol>
<ul>
<li>National Identity card (both sides);</li>
<li>NCPWD card (where applicable);</li>
<li>2 passport size photographs:</li>
<li>Certificates and testimonials; KCPE, KCSE, ‘A’ Level, Diploma, Degree etc;</li>
<li>Official Academic transcripts;</li>
<li>Certificate of Registration as a teacher</li>
<li>KRA PIN certificate:</li>
<li>Bank Plate;</li>
<li>Duly filled pay point particulars’ form;</li>
<li>NHIF Card;</li>
<li>Primary and secondary school leaving certificates and other testimonials;</li>
<li>Evidence of service as a teacher intern (where applicable)</li>
<li>Acknowledgement of receipt of application for employment;</li>
<li>Evidence of separation from the Commission for those previously employed by TSC.</li>
</ul>
<p>It is the responsibility of the Principal<em>/</em>Secretary Board of Management is expected to verify and certify all the above documents before issuing the Application for Employment Form (APPT 1) to the successful applicant.</p>
<h2><strong>TSC CHECK LIST OF EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS</strong></h2>
<p>Apart from the BOM Checklist, the Secretary, Board of Management(school principal), is required to submit the following documents to the TSC Sub-County Director:</p>
<ol>
<li>Duly filled and signed Application for Employment Form (APPT 1);</li>
<li>Minutes of the selection panel duly signed;</li>
<li>Completed selection score guide duly signed;</li>
<li>Duly signed commitment letter to serve in the school for a minimum period <strong>of five (5) years </strong>and three (3) years in the case of North Eastern region;</li>
<li>Certified copies of the following: –</li>
</ol>
<ul>
<li>National Identity card (both sides)</li>
<li>NCPWD card (where applicable);</li>

<p>You have been informed. The Commission takes submission of the above documents seriously. Omission of any one of these may delay your confirmation of employment.</p>
