2022 Grade 6 exams results out on Monday

<p>Grade 6 learners who sat for the inaugural Kenya Primary School Education Assessment &lpar;KPSEA&rpar; in 2022 will know their results on January 16&comma; 2023&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p class&equals;"video-desc">According to the Kenya National Examinations Council CEO&comma; David Njeng’ere&comma; KNES will release three reports&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>A total of <span lang&equals;"EN-GB">1&comma;287&comma;597 Grade Six pupils <&sol;span>sat their KPSEA exams between November 28 and November 30&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p class&equals;"video-desc">Individual learners&comma; school-specific reports&comma; and the national report on school-based and summative assessment are the three reports&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p class&equals;"video-desc">The national report will highlight the areas that require assistance as well as the number of learners at each performance level per topic who require intervention&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p class&equals;"video-desc">The individual school report will be tailored to each school and will highlight areas where students face difficulties and where schools require further assistance<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The KPSEA candidates&comma; like the KCPE candidates&comma; took five multiple-choice exam papers&period; They took Math&comma; English&comma; Kiswahili&comma; Integrated Science&comma; Creative Arts&comma; and Social Studies classes&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<h1 class&equals;"page-title" data-v-0c05764f&equals;"">KPSEA Results Will Not Be Used For Placement Of Learners In Junior Secondary Schools<&sol;h1>&NewLine;<p style&equals;"font-weight&colon; 500 &excl;important&semi;">The Kenya National Examinations Council &lpar;KNEC&rpar; has announced that the <span style&equals;"font-weight&colon; 500 &excl;important&semi;">Kenya Primary School Education Assessment &lpar;KPSEA&rpar; results<&sol;span> will not be used for placement of learners in Junior Secondary Schools&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p style&equals;"font-weight&colon; 500 &excl;important&semi;">The KPSEA report will&comma; however&comma; be part of the process of monitoring of learner progress&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;The national report will provide feedback to education stakeholders on areas that require intervention&period; The report will indicate the proportion of learners at each of the performance levels per subject where perhaps we need to do some interventions&comma;” says KNEC CEO David Njengere&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;All these are going to be uploaded on the school portals by 16th of January&comma; 2023&comma;” Njengere added&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
