<div class&equals;"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a">&NewLine;<div dir&equals;"auto">&NewLine;<p>𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝟏𝟎 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The Ministry of Education is putting in place proper guidelines that will ensure grade 10 students who are transitioned into senior schools in the year 2026 are placed in their preferred pathways&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Basic Education PS Dr&period; Belio Kipsang said the grade nine students who are currently in grade eight in Junior Schools will be required to select their areas of specialisation when they reach grade nine from the three pathways&comma; namely&comma; Science&comma; Technology&comma; Engineering&comma; and Mathematics &lpar;STEM&rpar; and the Arts and Sports discipline courses&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;The ministry will from next year run several simulations before the new placement method is adopted in 2026&comma;” he stated&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The PS&comma; who was speaking in Dagoretti South Sub-County on Thursday after opening the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Examination &lpar;KCSE&rpar; examination container for distribution to schools&comma; noted that all senior schools will offer STEM courses&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>He commended the multi-agency team who have been overseeing the on-going National Kenya Certificate of Secondary Examination exercise for four weeks&comma; noting that their good work has greatly contributed to the successful administration of this year’s examination&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<&sol;div>&NewLine;<div dir&equals;"auto"><&sol;div>&NewLine;<&sol;div>&NewLine;
