Nature of Offences\/ Types of Offences by a teacher that are punishable by the TSC:<\/a><\/h1>\n<\/div>\n<\/header>\n
\n

The Commission may take disciplinary action against a teacher who commits any of the following offences:<\/a><\/h4>\n

Immoral behaviour, including but not restricted to:<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Sexual intercourse<\/li>\n
  2. Sodomy<\/li>\n
  3. Lesbianism and<\/li>\n
  4. Sexual harrasment<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Proffesional misconduct including but not restricted to:<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Negligence of duty<\/li>\n
    2. Lateness to duty<\/li>\n
    3. Chronic absenteeism<\/li>\n
    4. Desertion<\/li>\n
    5. Incitement and<\/li>\n
    6. Insurbordination<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Infamous conduct including but not restricted to:<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      1. Drunkeness<\/li>\n
      2. Fighting<\/li>\n
      3. Conduct or behaviour which in the opinion of the Commission contradicts the spirit and tenor of Chapter six of the Constitution<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Forgery\/ presentation of forged documents<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

        Mismanagement, misappropriation and embezzlement of public funds<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

        Any other act of conduct that is incompatible with the teaching proffession<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n
