We have a wide number of convenient ways to pay your electricity bills.\u00a0All payments are posted in your\u00a0 electricity account on the same day.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
We strongly encourage our customers to use the paybill numbers 888888 and 888880 for postpaid and prepaid bill payments respectively. Please follow the instructions below to top up your electricty.<\/p>\n
Paying your Postpaid Electricity Bill with M-Pesa (Safaricom)<\/strong><\/p>\n 1. Select \u201cPay Bill\u201d from the\u00a0M-Pesa menu. 6. Confirm that all details are correct.<\/p>\n 7. You will receive a confirmation of the transaction via SMS.<\/p>\n How to Buy Kenya Power (KPLC) Prepaid Tokens via M-PESA Paybill Number 888880.<\/strong><\/p>\n How to Buy Kenya Power (KPLC) Prepaid Tokens via\u00a0Equitel<\/strong><\/p>\n 1. Select Eazzy Pay from your Equitel menu NB: All payments are posted in your\u00a0 electricity account on the same day.<\/p>\n Over The counter Payments<\/strong> Cash Payment<\/strong><\/p>\n As a rule, all cash payments should be made at Kenya Power’s authorised pay points which are located within official premises and the paying counters clearly marked\u00a0CASHIER<\/strong>.<\/p>\n ATM Payments<\/strong><\/p>\n If you have an account with Co-operative Bank, Postbank or Standard Chartered Bank, you may also pay your bill through any of these banks\u2019 Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs).<\/p>\n Bank Payments<\/strong> Cheque Payments<\/strong> Bill Payment Through M-Banking<\/strong><\/p>\n If you are a Co-operative Bank customer, your mobile phone is now an electricity bill payment point. \n4. Enter the amount you wish to pay which should be between Shs. 100 and\u00a0 Shs.35,000.
\n5. Enter your M-Pesa PIN.<\/p>\n\n

\nChoose the bank account number to pay from e.g.0123456789102
\nSelect business number –\u00a0KPLC\u00a0Tokens
\n3. Enter your\u00a0KPLC\u00a0Prepaid Meter Number (e.g. 37168917674) press OK
\n4. Enter the amount you wish to pay which should be between\u00a0Shs. 100 and\u00a0 Shs.500,000.
\n5. Enter your\u00a0Equitel\u00a0PIN and press OK
\n6. Confirm that all details are correct by pressing 1 OK
\n7. You will receive a\u00a0 text confirmation of the transaction from Equity bank.
\nKPLC\u00a0will then generate prepaid token valid for your meter and send via SMS.1<\/p>\n

\n2. Select Pay Bill from Eazzy Pay.
\nChoose the bank account number to pay from e.g.0123456789102
\nSelect business number –\u00a0KPLC\u00a0Bills (Post Paid)
\n3. Enter your new Kenya Power meter number e.g. 2831172 or 3436980.
\n4. Enter the amount you wish to pay which should be between Shs.100 and\u00a0 Shs.500,000.
\n5. Enter your\u00a0Equitel\u00a0PIN and press OK
\n6. Confirm that all details are correct by pressing 1 OK.
\n7. You will receive a\u00a0 text confirmation of the transaction from Equity bank.<\/p>\n
\nAll our esteemed clients and potential clients can\u00a0 pay their electricity bill by cash through all Equity Bank branches across the country and all payments willl reflect in your electricity account on the same day.<\/p>\n
\nYou may also pay your electricity bill by cash through appointed Co-operative Bank branches in Nairobi. Additionally, you can pay your electricity bill at any branch of the following banks countrywide.<\/p>\n
\nCheques may be deposited in designated boxes in pay centres and at specific business premises appointed by Kenya Power to serve as drop-off points.<\/p>\n
