<p data-v-03597bc5="">The <span style="color: #0000ff;"><strong><a style="color: #0000ff;" href="https://educationnewshub.co.ke/category/tsc-kenya-news/">Teachers Service Commission (TSC)</a></strong></span> has come out to give reasons for delays in payment of salaries for newly recruited teachers. According to the Commission, they have already processed fifty percent, 50%, of the salaries set to be paid to the newly employed 35,550 Junior Secondary School teachers.</p>

<p> TSC blames the salary delays on the delayed reporting by some of the teachers to their teaching stations.</p>

<p>TSC has advised teachers to confirm the payments with their respective banks, promising to effect all salaries in May.</p>

<div data-v-03597bc5="">&#8220;We apologise for any delays that may have been occasioned by late reporting of teachers to their stations, or delayed submission of requisite documents. All efforts are being made to effect all the salaries in May 2023.&#8221; read part of the statement.</div>

<p>This comes as TSC had been summoned by National Assembly Committee on Education to answer questions on delocalization of teachers, recruitment, promotion and teacher&#8217;s medical cover among others.</p>
<p>The TSC recruited 35,550 Junior Secondary School teachers who reported to their stations in February and March 2023. As is procedure, the recruits are given 30 days within which to report to their various stations, which leads to some commencing their work later than others.</p>
