<p>Technical education gives us opportunity to garner technical skills. Technical education is vital in a progressive economy like Kenya thus the need to embrace it.</p>
<p>The government has advertised enrollment to various Technical and Vocational Training Institutes [TVETs]. This is a remarkable opportunity for us to propel our young people to acquire technical skills. In the advertisement, those who finished O Level from the Year 2000 to date are allowed to apply.</p>
<p>We want as many students to apply so that we produce people who can be self-reliant by employing themselves and, or creating jobs for others in both formal and informal sectors.</p>
<p>Fundamentally, enrollment to these institutes gives one an opportunity to directly benefit from government capitation besides getting assistance from HELB and even our CDF kitty. I appeal to you to encourage a brother or a sister to be equipped with technical skills. This will set pace for a massive economic transformation.</p>
