KNEC Chair, Prof Magoha, to give an update on findings from investigations into the 2018 exams’ malpractices

The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) chairman Prof Magoha is set to release findings of investigations into the 2018 KCSE irregularities today. Prof Magoha will make public the Council’s findings at 12.30pm at Exams Council offices’ on Denis Pritt Road, Nairobi.

Results for some centres were withheld after exam malpractices were detected. During the release of the 2018 KCSE results, on December 21st 2018, Education Cabinet Secretary (Dr Amina Mohammed) indicated that KNEC had cancelled results for 100 candidates and investigations were ongoing for schools whose results had been withheld.
